The Home: A rugged-yet-refined mountain retreat spread across three levels, this 2,949 sq ft cabin was designed for gathering. Vaulted wood-plank ceilings, wood-toned walls, and antler chandeliers set the tone throughout, paired with Southwestern rugs, leather furniture, and cozy blankets, a modern mountain lodge look.

Raised airy ceilings and oversized windows pull in gorgeous views of the surrounding peaks and valleys from the living room, dining room, and primary suite, while a floor-to-ceiling Big Bear native stone fireplace anchors the great room with a warm, cozy glow on cold nights.

Living Room: Open-concept with the great room's showpiece stone fireplace, huge mountain views, and a comfortable layout made for gathering after a day on the slopes or the trail.

Kitchen: Newly renovated and fully equipped for a crowd, with dark espresso cabinetry, tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, a gas stovetop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, quartz countertops, and a well-stocked pantry of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and spices. An espresso machine, Keurig, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and blender round things out for morning routines big or small.

Dining: The long wood dining table seats twelve beneath a statement antler chandelier, with mid-century blue chairs adding a pop of color against the wood tones. The breakfast bar on the kitchen island seats four more.

Bedroom 1, Main-Floor Primary Suite — sleeps 2 One California King bed set against wood-plank walls beneath a mounted moose skull and antlers, with a Southwestern rug and a pair of leather armchairs for a sitting area. HD SmartTV with streaming, access to the large upper deck, and a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.

A Peloton Cycle and hand weights are set up in an adjoining nook for guests who want to keep up their routine (bring your own clip-in shoes and Peloton account login — the bike itself is provided).

Bedroom 2, Third-Floor Primary Suite — sleeps 2 One King bed on a dark upholstered headboard, dressed with a Pendleton-style striped throw and set on a rust-toned rug. HD SmartTV with streaming, a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and its own dedicated WFH area with a desk (we've got wifi!) and comfy chair.

Bedroom 3 — sleeps 4 Two Queen beds with dark upholstered headboards and matching navy Pendleton-style striped blankets, on a Southwestern runner rug. HD SmartTV with streaming.

Bedroom 4 — sleeps 2 One Queen bed with a black upholstered headboard and accented pattern pillow, set on a black-and-white geometric rug with a mustard accent chair. Access to the large lower deck and a dedicated WFH area with a desk and chair.

Bedroom 5 — sleeps 2 One Queen bed dressed with a cozy blanket, access to the large lower deck, and plenty of room to spread out.

Bathrooms: Three full bathrooms — one attached to each primary suite, and one shared between the two downstairs Queen bedrooms — plus a half bath on the main floor off the kitchen. Walk-in glass showers with wood-tone vanities and black fixtures. Towels, bed linens, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and paper towels are all provided.

Family-Friendly: A Pack 'n Play/travel crib is always on hand, along with children's books and toys sorted by age group (0–2, 2–5, 5–10, and 10+). There is also a dedicated indoor children's playroom stocked with toys, books, and games.

Entertainment: The dedicated game room is a house favorite and sure to entertain your guets. A brown leather sectional and patterned ottomans face an electronic dartboard and air hockey table, with two vintage stand-up arcade cabinets (NBA JAM and MS. PAC-MAN, plus 13 other retro titles), framed vintage travel posters, and a pair of crossed snowshoes on the wall.

Five HD SmartTVs with Apple TV streaming are spread throughout the home (living room, game room, both primary suites, and the two-queens bedroom), plus board games and books for low-key nights in.

Laundry: In-unit washer and dryer, with an iron and ironing board on hand.

The Decks: Two large mountain-view decks, each with its own personality: Dark Adirondack-style chairs with navy patterned cushions surround the gas grill on one, while the hot tub sits on the other, looking straight across the valley to Bear Mountain's slopes. Wood plank decking and redwood railings run the length of both, framed by tall pines. Hot tub hours are 7:00 AM–10:00 PM. Please respect these hours.

Parking: Up to 5 vehicles total between the garage (fits 2) and the private driveway (fits 3). There is no street parking allowed in Big Bear Lake, overnight or otherwise. This is strictly enforced by the city. A Level 2 EV charging outlet (220V, roughly 12–35 miles of range per hour) is available in the garage (bring your own adapter/cord).

What to Do: The ski resorts are minutes away. Bear Mountain (1.6 miles, directly across the valley from the house), Snow Summit (3.3 miles), and the quieter, locals-favorite Snow Valley (15 miles up Highway 18).

In warmer months, take the short drive down to The Village for shopping, dining, and nightlife, or catch one of the weekly events at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit for local food, live music, and a beer garden.

This is a three-story home with a small set of exterior stairs to the main-floor entrance, plus interior stairs to the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. Guests should be comfortable walking up and down stairs throughout the stay.

A few areas are reserved for the owners and not available to guests: the closet in the main-floor primary bedroom, the cleaner's closet in the great room, and the handyman's closet in the garage.

Ahead of check-in, guests will need to provide a photocopy of the primary renter's ID and e-sign a short-term rental agreement, per City of Big Bear Lake requirements.

Trash bins are kept in the garage: blue for recyclables, black for landfill. A trash service handles curb pickup, so bins never need to go to the street; please don't leave trash outside the house or garage, as it can attract wildlife.

In winter, a snow removal company plows the driveway (usually overnight or early morning) — guests should plan on AWD/4WD or chains on snow days. The host also reserves the right to access the property as needed for maintenance.

Peloton riders: bring your own clip-in shoes (none are provided) and a current Peloton account to log in with :)

Bear Mountain Ski Resort is 1.6 miles away, Snow Summit is 3.3 miles, and Snow Valley is about 15 miles up Highway 18. The Village is a short drive for shopping, dining, and lakefront activities. Guests flying in without a car can also arrange private shuttle service from the Los Angeles and San Diego area airports.

City of Big Bear Lake Good Neighbor Policy must be always respected. Please review the city rules.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit. Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy.

NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard. Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers.

No amplified music 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.

Head inside at 10:00 p.m. Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to extend common courtesy and neighborly behavior toward the guests and residents around them. For those guests who have come to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods, there are consequences. The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation. Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund.
