Had a nice weekend trip here. Nice little spot to hang your hat while exploring Big Bear. Host was responsive and logistics were simple.

Molly Meis place was perfect for a weeks stay. Her place was more than comfortable for 2 people and had fun amenities such as a clean hot tub and outdoor space!

Location was great! Nice and clean inside. Enjoyed the jacuzzi on back deck. Very Soft comfortable bed on second story. Decor was neat, loved the record player and board games. Thank you Molly!

Such a charming place and I absolutely loved the living room/dining room esthetic and it really felt homey. it had its quirks but overall I throughly enjoyed my time and felt at peace.

This cabin is perfect for the weekend getaway, a lot of things to do very close by. What my girlfriend and I do is plan breakfasts and then we grab a bite when we're out and about. Staying at this place was super chill, not even a peep from the neighbors, parking is okay, beds are comfy and the place is inviting. Overall, it's a great place, book it with confidence.

We’ve only spend one night in Molly’s cabin but it was everything we wanted! Molly is great at communicating and very helpful with anything we needed. Place looks exactly the same as shown at pictures! Next time we’ll be in Big Bear we’ll definitely be back to her cabin. Thanks a lot once again for letting us stay.

Great stay

My girl friends and I stayed for the weekend, we enjoyed the place. The heater worked great throughout the whole house so we got warm quick. We wished there were more pan and baking pan options, but other than that the kitchen and house was tidy. Definitely needed another restroom for 7 girls, but overall we had a great time!!

Thank you for a great stay! Close to Bug Bear Resort and downtown, we enjoyed the location and amenities offered. Great value, and loved that we could bring our dog. Beds weren’t the most comfortable, but the fireplace and hot tub were amazing after a long day of skiing. Definitely recommend for a stay in Big Bear!

This place was great! We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were kind and quick to respond. The location is perfect and the place itself is nice, we really enjoyed the hot tub! That being said we found multiple items left behind from prior guests including a pill, we’re just grateful our pup didn’t eat it. Overall would recommend :)

Nicely located, walking distance to the slopes!

The cabin was easy to find and we really enjoyed our few nights there. Our host left a bottle of wine and some New Years Eve hats which was a very sweet gesture. The fireplace is gorgeous and cozy. This is exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet cozy New Year’s Eve. The pots and pans were a little dirty when we got there so we had to clean them before using. But over everything was wonderful. Hot tub was a great amenity. Thanks Molly!

This cabin was beautiful! Location couldn’t be better. In the heart of Moonridge and so close to everything. We stayed with our young daughter and another couple with their two kids and it was comfortable and large enough. Definitely recommend!

The cabin was okay, but only has 3 beds, 2 of them were very stiff and we killed 3 spiders. We saw a couple of big cobwebs. Other than that it was ok.

I had an incredible stay at this cabin! The location was absolutely perfect – peaceful, serene, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. It was the ideal getaway for some much-needed relaxation. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My dog absolutely loved the space and had a blast exploring the surrounding area. The host was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful retreat! We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights at the cottage. The area is literally 5 mins to the mountain as well as restaurants and village. The hot tub is so nice to chill in with the forest around. However, it wasn't the cheapest of the houses, but the small details such as falling knob in the shower or the cheapest linen that shocks you with the electricity made us question if the price Is fair. Overall, we liked our stay.

We decided to book this cabin for a week to unplug. It was easy to find and checkin was smooth. We really enjoyed our stay. The living room was very cozy. Host was responsive when I reached out about the propane tank being empty. Within 30 minutes someone was dropping off the new one. The house itself is a bit older and could use some work. There were a few things that seemed outdated. The shower head was squirting out water and the knob kept falling off. The toilet seemed to be leaky as well. The sliding glass door leading to the back patio was nearly impossible to open, we were a bit nervous to break it each time we tried to go out there. The tv downstairs in the bedroom didn’t have any updated apps so we couldn’t use it. A few things to fix but overall it was amazing! Very peaceful. Awesome location. 5 minutes from Stater Bros. Love the high ceilings and large windows.

Great couples getaway! Pretty neighborhood and nice clean property. Really enjoyed the hot tub and board games came in handy. Very welcoming of our pups, this dog friendly property provided treats for their arrival.

Mollys place was very quaint and quiet . Perfect for one to three guests Didn’t have a chance to explore the area because I was there just to sleep and shower as I transitioned into my new home in big bear. on the down size the moment I walked in was a distinctive odor from Pets or smoking. had to have a candle on when I slept there because it was so bad . I noticed the 3rd night that my bathroom trash was turned over and I thought oh well but the fourth night the same thing and I saw rodent droppings. The towels smelled so bad. That I had to wash them and eventually used my own. The jacuzzi was not operable. . The knob handles in the shower are broken and it took forever to get the correct temp. I’m glad that I did not book for more than 4 nights. . Although the place is quite charming it is not clean . The drapes. Cob webs. And again the odor. I would not recommend unless the host does a major cleaning. You get what you pay for though at $116 a night.

We loved staying at the Lazy Bear Chalet!! The hosts were extremely responsive and helped with anything we had questions on. The home was very well cleaned and maintained and it looks just like it does in the photos. 10/10 would recommend.

Beautiful Charming Big Bear Getaway - Molly’s place is perfect for a small group (and fur baby friendly) - It has the most comfy beds ever and is just so so rustic and cozy - it has everything you need for a few nights in the mountains. From lounging and watching tv or listening to a record with a glass of wine from barrel 33, to reading on the porch and relaxing in the spa after a day on the mountain - you can do it all! The hot tub wasn’t working when we got there, but Molly was super responsive and helped us fix it quickly- and it was delightful!! The property has a great little woodsy area for the dogs to run (not enclosed). Close to the mountains and the village but tucked away enough for peace and quiet. Easy check in/out, no issues with amenities, water pressure, heat, tvs.. Highly recommend!

Great location and perfect for just needing the basics to sleep one night. Check in time is late (4:30) and check out is early 10:00am. There is no flexibility on these times. Inside the property could be much cleaner than it was.. lots of pet hair in random spots. Overall good stay.

The cabin was beautiful overall. The grill and fireplace were very nice. Super dog friendly with gated front and back porch. A vinyl record player with a selection of records added a cozy vibe. We enjoyed our time there, but did encounter some issues. There were black ants in the house, the hot tub was tricky to navigate - it gave an error code and the buttons were barely functional (host said they ordered a new panel), the upstairs heater sometimes wouldn't turn on, and the house had a bit of a smell. But all in all, we focused on the positives and had a great time!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Mollys cabin! The experience of witnessing my first snowfall while cozied up inside was truly magical. The cabin was incredibly cozy, and the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind and enjoy the snowy surroundings. Not only did I enjoy the stay, but my dogs absolutely loved the home too! They had plenty of space to roam around and seemed just as happy and comfortable as I was. I can't wait to come back again and experience more of what this lovely cabin and Big Bear have to offer. Such a gorgeous cabin, in a very nice quiet neighborhood with a secluded hot tub, which was ready and hot for us for when we arrived. Only a 15 minute drive to big Bear Mountain ski resort such a pleasure to not have a long drive away from the lake to eat in downtown big bear. The home was warm during the winter that was a really sweet record player with a Bohemian Rhapsody vinyl, which made our day. Allowing us to bring the dog was the icing on the cake. Such a great place to be with your beloved pet.

The cabin was gorgeous and had everything you’d need. I’d note it is right next to another Airbnb but the surroundings were private and beautiful. The cabin is near the slopes and about 8min from downtown Big Bear. Molly and her team responded within 30min of any issue that arose and were very accommodating. I would definitely stay again ◡̈

The home smells very, very bad. Exactly like inhaling a cigar the entire time you’re there. Host dismissed us, saying there’s no smell at all. I almost passed out and had to sleep with all the windows open and a giant noisy air filter. I didn’t sleep all night from the thick putrid odor as well as the snowy air. Spent $400 on the Airbnb while having to also wash all our dishes, take out our own trash, made sure we adhered to every rule otherwise there are hundreds of dollars of extra fees they threaten you with. I wouldn’t stay here again unless the odor issue is fixed.

Molly Mei and the concierge team were super polite and made everything easy to coordinate. The house looks just like the photos and was in a great location - close to town, hiking, the lake, slopes, etc. Personally, I would stay somewhere with a view on my next trip to Big Bear. The neighbors are pretty close and there is a lack of privacy when lounging on the front or back deck. Rooms were clean, kitchen had all the basics and the appliances worked well. The fireplace and jacuzzi were two of the main reasons we booked this space and those were unfortunately the only two elements of the house that weren’t up to par. The firewood we ordered from Molly Mei (which is a nice option they give you on check in) was damp and wouldn’t light. She did give us a refund the next day! And the jacuzzi’s buttons are pretty worn down which made it challenging to navigate the temperature function. But they took that feedback well and said they’ll have it looked it! All in all it was a lovely stay.

Exactly as pictured and described online! Best host I’ve had due to timely responses, instructions, suggestions, and efficiency of the entire process for the weekend! 5/5 highly recommend !

We really felt at home here! I was worried because it was a dog friendly AirBNB that possibly, cleanliness would be an issue but it wasn’t. The cabin could definitely use a deep clean, spider webs on the ceiling and things of that sort but overall it was clean. A few of our favorite parts were the record player, which they just so happened to have a couple of our favorite records! The fireplace was large and we made great use out of that and the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi did have some issues but we made due. It would have an error code and not work but we figured it out! We contacted the host and they were very responsive and even offered to have someone come fix it within minutes, but we got it working. Loved the thoughtfulness of the chicken wire on the back and deck & retractable gate on the deck for the dogs. Overall, it was a great stay and we would recommend!

The lazy beat chalet was perfect for mine and my boyfriend’s birthday trip. The location was great. We were near many great restaurants and hikes. We would definitely come back and stay here.

This was the most amazing location! You’re right in the heart of nature and close to the little village that’s up and coming. Walking distance to the zoo, coffee shops, and donut house. I spent my birthday weekend up there and couldn’t of asked for a better location. This house was perfect if you want the basics with great accessibility to the village and to the lake. Like a 10-15 minute drive to big bear village and big bear lake parks. The pictures do the place justice but ask about all the amenities before showing up. We tried getting the BBQ going and it was out of propane, the one bathroom some things needed to be fixed, and the spa constantly needed filling so we gave up. Luckily we only went up there to paddle board and walk around oh and sleep lol. Beautiful house but was bummed about certain things. Super responsive host and had a repair man come up to the property to help but I didn’t wanna be annoying about the BBQ and Hot tub! I would stay again 🤍 thank you Molly!

When we arrived there was a stale smell as if no one had been there to clean or freshen up the place in quite some time all with cob webs EVERYWHERE throughout the home. All the mattress pads are severally stained from previous guests also. The first day we tried to use the hot tub and it was almost completely empty so I contacted the host to have it filled which he asked me to do. Once filled, the hot tub never worked and they offered to send a spa company to look at it, which they never did because the hot tub didn’t work our entire trip. When we expressed our frustration with this as the hot tub was the only amenity we wanted to use, the hosts never replied and just ignored our complaints. Additionally, the string lights on the back deck did not work making it unusable due to it being pitch black at night in the back yard. Also the bbq was so rusted and dirty it was unusable. Would suggest staying at one of the other many Airbnb rentals in the area rather than staying here.

We had several team members on a retreat here. The place was as described, clean and functional with great common area for activities. It was short drive to the lake and all the hiking locations. The instructions were clear and check in was easy. Definitely coming back here!

This house was perfect! Super safe place for the pups. The home has doggy gates at every end of the patio and plenty of room for your furry babies to explore in the woods. The record collection in the home and American History books are a very nice touch. Moonridge is a cute, quiet, peaceful town. A great place to stay for visiting Big Bear!

Lovely cabin in a beautiful area! We loved our stay and would definitely return.

The house was nice, it was clean, the kitchen was well-appointed, the outdoor area was fenced in and there was a hot tub and bbq. There was a/c in the upstairs bedroom and a fan in the downstairs room, which were really helpful at night. It was dog friendly which was a big plus. The host was responsive and quick even on a holiday weekend. The first week of July was miserably hot and most of the house was like a sauna. I think for the house to be habitable in summer, there needs to be a fan in the main house. Making any food only made it worse. Our trip timing was bad in that there was a pollen storm causing bad allergies so the heat and dryness were more pronounced. I imagine this would not always be a concern but it was our experience and we spent a lot of our trip combating the heat despite knowing the a/c situation and temperatures and coming prepared!

This property was lovely! My family and I spent Fathers Day weekend in Big Bear and decided to book with Molly. We had an amazing time, we grilled, enjoyed the beautiful outdoors, and relaxed in the Jacuzzi. It was a very quiet neighborhood yet close to markets, restaurants, etc. The place was clean and looked like the photos! Would definitely stay here again. (:

The place was perfect. We stayed shortly after the winter storm closed all the roads. Molly was proactive in communicating about road conditions. It is conveniently located about 5 minutes from Bear Mountain. The jacuzzi was perfect after a long day on the slopes. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. We had to troubleshoot a problem with the jacuzzi, and the host responded within minutes with a solution. The space is modern yet extremely cozy. The house also sits up on a hill, allowing for unobstructed views through the trees. This is a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Hope to be back soon!

The Lazy Bear Chalet is by far my favorite Air BnB I've ever stayed in. From the moment of arrival, my boyfriend, dog, and I all felt right at home. The host was extremely communicative and helped us navigate road closures from the big snowfall of early March '23. We cannot thank them enough! Now, to get to the good parts--the home! As soon as you climb the stairs you're greeted with a cute, secluded balcony overlooking trees. When you enter, you’ll be taken away by the interior design and lighting. You can tell the host takes pride in the space and the whole vibe is curated--upscale, yet cozy. We took morning walks through the quiet and cute neighborhood with our pup. It was a perfect start to the day and let us take in those mountain views! My favorite part was hitting the hot tub at sunset after skiing all day. Do this, your muscles will thank you later! We’d absolutely stay here again and will recommend to all our friends. Thanks for a perfect trip!

Great cabin, really enjoyed our stay. Our host communicated well and made sure we had everything we needed even weather and driving conditions information.

The price is higher for the place. We had difficulty checking in since we had kids and the stairs had ice that wasn’t cleaned. The outside lights were switched off though we had let them know the time of arrival. It could have be riskier if we hadn’t noticed the ice and hadn’t been cautious. We had to clean the stairs to get in and out of the cabin. The dryer wasn’t working. The dishes in the kitchen were not too clean. For the price we paid, expected at least the basics to be taken care of.

This was such a cute house! The aesthetic was really nice - loved the black fireplace area. it was a cozy experience. The hosts provided lots of detailed information for everything. I would say my only feedback would be to have more clear instructions on which door is the entrance and to check the plumbing for the toilet. We had a little trouble finding the front door at first because it was dark and also there was no instruction that the door was up the side stairs and around the corner of the balcony. The toilet didn't flush all the way at first at all. We had to use the plunger to make the water run fully from any flush. Other than those two pieces, we had a wonderful time at our stay!

They cabin was really nice and only 5 minutes away from the slope. Everything was clean and the hot tub was great. The dryer doesn’t work though and I wish the utensils, pot, and pans in the kitchen were cleaner but other than that it was a really nice stay and my dad really enjoyed the record player.

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway! The place is gorgeous, clean, and modern (especially for a mountain cabin). We and our big pup felt right at home. We've stayed at Airbnbs in various areas of Big Bear and this was easily one of our favorites. Off the main road, but close to everything with a quick drive. We loved walking around the neighborhood in the morning and evening with the dog, and playing board games at night. And major kudos to Molly - Our first morning (Thanksgiving day), we discovered the coffee pot was broken. Molly brought a brand new one to us within an hour. I did not expect such tremendous customer service on a holiday! Thank you, Molly!

Molly is very friendly and responsible. She answered every detailed question that we have. One day during our stay, the toilet was clogged. She replied to my message at 10pm and said that she would have someone to check it the next day. On the second day afternoon, she said the handyman was delayed but was on the way to the cabin. When we were back to the house late afternoon, the toilet was fixed and everyone went back to normal. My little one and my dog love this house so much. They had a great time in Big Bear and in the cabin. We played the board games, listened to the records at night and cooked for ourselves. The rooms are pretty warm and nice no matter how cold outside it was. We spend 3 wonderful days away from our busy and noise life in the city. We enjoyed the cold weather, the clean snow and fresh air in the mountains. Thanks to Molly and her team to make this cabin pretty and warm. We will definitely be back next year for another holiday season!

What a wonderful cabin! I came up here with my girlfriends for a weekend getaway and was not disappointed. The aesthetics are so charming. Really enjoyed baking, watching movies and cozying up near the fire.

It was such a cozy stay! The decor gave a moody vibe, just how I imagined it to be. My husband, pups, and I enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend staying here if you need a little R&R time. It had everything we needed to make a basic meal. It's almost like we didn't never had to leave our space, especially with the entertainment provided & hot tub in the back patio. Molly was quick to respond and check-in went smoothly.

Based on the message from Molly, we were able to check in anytime after 12pm at their business location. We checked in ~12ish and had to wait until 3:59pm for the lock code to be texted to us. The cabin was not ready until 3:59pm and only initiated by us parking at the house at 3:40pm as the guy parked next door, ran over to restock once we pulled into the driveway. The stairs up toward the door also was covered in snow. The only small sliver of walkable path was alongside the chalet and their was a lantern outside my bf had bumped into. Please provide the shovel beforehand for safety reasons. Throughout the trip we had very slow communication with the host when we needed to reach out for wifi issues. Not sure how clean the jacuzzi was but it made my skin itch. We only used it for 20 mins before i had to exit. The cabin itself was cozy but the very slow response time made it not so enjoyable. I advise coming closer to 4pm.

Our stay at the, Lazy Bear Chalet to celebrate my wife’s bday was great, my wife loved it. Our hosts, Seth and Molly Mei were very welcoming and communication throughout our stay was great. My wife loved the location as it is near great restaurants and things to do, I’d say no more than 15 min or less. The check-in/ out process was smooth and easy, directions are provided accurately as to what’s expected. Something minor I enjoyed were the instructions posted at the door for check-out. Our favorite feature of the cabin is its cozy/ quiet ambience, the fireplace works great as we enjoyed s’mores and a movie. 5/5 recommended.

My husband and I rented this place for my birthday. The chalet location was ideal with everything you need close by. The chalet looked beautiful and clean. Host were fast at replying to any of our questions and very accommodating. There was an issue with the electricity upon our arrival which was out of the host control but when we got there they were fast to help us, they even got us some wood and help us start the fireplace. Overall we enjoyed our time and recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful weekend :)

Adorable spot! Just a few minutes from town but we spent a lot of them at the cabin. We did a fire, grilled and used the hottub. Clean and comfy. Hosts were very accommodating with a late check in.

Easy to find, beautifully decorated, and the comfiest king bed I’ve ever slept in! It was so close to the shops and markets & it had everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay. If you go to big bear during the summer beware most cabins do not have AC, this one has a great unit in the bedroom but plan on having to open windows and turn the fan on hot days since it only cools the upstairs area. We hope to be back in the winter to enjoy snow sports, though I wouldn’t be surprised if this place gets fully booked! 5 stars.

We had a great experience at Lazy Bear Chalet and with the hosts! My wife, dog, and I ended up needing a place to stay on short notice due to a horrible experience at a different place with different hosts. Thankfully, we found Molly and Seth’s cabin. They were quick to reply, and we were able reserve and check-in to the cabin within a couple hours of us reaching out to them. This place was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. We would stay here again.

This place is wonderful for a summer getaway! It has everything you need, especially in the kitchen, that’s why we could cook a lot! The house is beautiful, very stylish:) we loved the fact that it had a lot of games and music records. There were a few slightly broken things like shower for example, but it didn’t ruin our impression at all! We will recommend this house for sure.

This was a wonderful little getaway for my husband and I! Our dog even loved it too and we were pleasantly surprised to see they offered pet friendly service! Not too far away from the town but far enough to have peace and quiet! We will definitely be returning here!

The house is very cute and has great amenities. Board games, kitchen supplies etc. and the welcome bag is a nice touch! it’s been pretty minimally updated though, so there’s some improvements that are needed . The pics just reflect the cosmetic lift that’s been done so far. We had a handful of maintenance issues as well, but overall it was a nice stay and a great time in Big Bear

Had a really nice stay here! Place was really lovely and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need for a getaway. Loved sitting on their front deck surrounded by trees. As some mentioned in other reviews, the homes here are very close together, even in the back, but it honestly didn't feel like an issue. We never saw others while enjoying the hot tub. We would definitely return!

The place was awesome! Molly was incredibly nice and helpful upon check in. Cabin had everything you could possibly need. Bed was SO comfortable. I had trouble leaving it. I was sold on the chandelier in the photos but sadly that has been replaced just FYI if you’re into old school lighting too. Back patio is nice and dog gates were a nice touch. The neighbor houses are close though I think unoccupied during my time there so I didn’t mind it. I enjoyed the proximity to Moonridge coffee, about a 15 minute walk.

Our stay at Lazy Bear Chalet was nothing short of amazing. The check-in process was easy, the location is amazing and the property is well-appointed. The beds are extremely comfortable and the wood burning fireplace was the perfect addition to a cozy weekend away. I highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Big Bear!

The cabin is amazing! It is in a great location that allowed us to explore Big Bear Lake during the weekend. It exceeded our expectations and we’re really happy with our choice of staying at the Lazy Bear Chalet.

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. The host made it extremely easy to have a blast here. The house is stunning and definitely passed the vibe check.

Molly Mei’s cabin is very cozy and has everything you need from coffee, to board games, to a hot tub! The hot tub was incredible with the cold weather we had. Plus— the cabin itself has plenty of charm and is centrally located. It’s the perfect spot for a Big Bear getaway. Molly was very communicative and helpful, as well. I will say though, I wasn’t used to the extra rules and hidden fees! So just make sure you’re completely transparent with all of your travel details and definitely read the rulebook(s) thoroughly. Cabin was lovely and well stocked. Communication was very good. Two areas that we found to be lacking - not sure why checkin requires an extra stop to office - would be much easier to just get the door code and go straight to the cabin. Major issue was the hot tub. It was very clean when we arrived. By the morning of the 4th day, the water smelled and was cloudy. We had only used maybe 90 minutes or so with no F&B in it. Instead of an apology for the state of the hot tub, we were charged for cleaning it. When we rented the cabin specifically for the hot tub and it functioned or maintained poorly, we would expect an apology instead of being blamed.

Pictures are extremely deceiving and they are heavily filtered. Host is really bad at communication they respond 3 or 4 hours later. Their cleaning crew was inside our private patio looking at us inside the room at 1120 when our checkout was at 12. Truly I only booked this cabin which was more expensive than most of the other ones because the pictures deceived me to thinking it’s that nice but it’s like any other cabin.

Cute little spot! Perfect for a ski weekend and great if you have a dog! Very thoughtfully dog proofed.

The toliet’s wall is not clean with dirt and web. The hot water is muddy. Second floor is very cold especially if you are sleeping on the twin bed. PARKING is a issus where you can only park on a slope. The host are nice, but the room itself definitely have many things to improve.

Clean and cozy. We had a nice family weekend stay and would book another of their properties in the future!

What a great home for a small family and our dog! The management staff was really great and communicative ad we were greeted with a sweet welcome gift. the home itself was really well decorated and cozy. The upstairs bed was super comfy and we really loved cozying up to a fire at night. And the best part was after a long day on the slope we relaxed in the hot tub! We would definitely rent this home again!

This was the perfect cozy home for our family’s thanksgiving!! We hung out in the hot tub and explored the town which was 5 minutes drive by day, and played games by the fireplace with movies on the big screen at night. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make a full thanksgiving meal. The beds were comfortable and there were extra throw blankets provided for those extra chilly nights. Just the best atmosphere :)

The cabin was absolutely perfect and a great staycation. The location is great- super close to the market if needed, but not on a busy street. I think Molly was more than willing to please and answer any questions and concerns in an amazingly quick fashion.. there were more steps than we had planned into the cabin. The cabin was very clean.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was centrally located and the hot tub was very nice. Unfortunately there were a few things missed, we didn’t realize until leaving that all the dishes were left in the dishwasher from whoever was previously staying so we went out and bought some. The upstairs “king” bed is just two twins pushed together so if you get close to the middle you sink. Otherwise, the living area was very clean, the games provided were a nice touch, and I loved having my pup with us.

Such a beautiful cabin! Molly really thought of everything! There is ample seating and a FULLY stocked kitchen 😍 We loved spending the day out on the patio with our pups, listening to the record player and doing some of the puzzles provided. The cabin is close to the village and lots of good food/drinks/coffee ☺️ Molly even included a welcome gift that was so sweet and thoughtful! We are from AZ but cannot wait to come back and visit Big Bear!

What a lovely cabin for a few days of peace and rest! Whether sipping coffee from flecked mugs on the balcony or cozying up on the couch to read and listen to records, this is a perfect retreat. It’s so close to the city but feels worlds away.

Molly’s place is absolutely lovely, cozy, clean and exactly what we needed to unwind. In fact, we enjoyed our time there so much that we decided to extend our stay there a couple of nights. FYI: The upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a bathroom, so it may be an inconvenience for some to walk downstairs in the middle of the night to use the toilet. Overall, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Bear Chalet. We appreciated Molly’s responsiveness and attention to detail. The granola bars, selection of teas and Lazy Bear Chalet souvenir gifts were a nice thoughtful touch! We plan on staying here again for our visits to Big Bear!

The Lazy Bear Chalet was perfect! It was very close to any and everything you could want and we are glad we found this gem. The house was very clean and organized and the hosts were very kind and helpful. They had great suggestions on activities and restaurants for our family and we loved that our dog got to join us on vacation!

Great little cabin. Living room area was great. Very close to town and the activities. We overall enjoyed our stay and the dog gates on the deck were a nice touch, as we had a dog and baby. The front deck is so nice to hang out and enjoy some coffee. Upstairs bed (king) is 2 singles pushed together which was a bit uncomfortable. We moved to downstairs bedroom which was better. Hot tub was super close to the next door neighbors, not private at all. We enjoyed the fireplace and cooking in. the kitchen. Thanks!

House is absolutely beautiful! It was cozy and had so many games you can play. There’s gates on the patios so that your kids or fur babies can run around and you don’t have to worry about them falling down the stairs or getting far from you. Every dollar is worth it with this Airbnb!

It was the perfect getaway we needed to escape the AZ heat. Great communication from the hosts and the cabin was exceptional. Only downside was wishing we stayed longer! Would definitely come back here.

An amazing weekend getaway!!!! This place was the perfect combination of outdoors and modern vibes. From the moment we arrived, from sit on the front deck while the record player played in the background, it was the perfect getaway from the fast pace of LA. The hot tub hit the spot after a grueling 10 mile hike. Molly and Seth were easy and quick to communicate regarding any question we had. The requests have been pouring in for the details of this place since the moment our pictures went up. We definitely recommend it, you will not be disappointed!

This was a good place but unfortunately they didn’t have an AC unit during our stay. It was extremely hot, especially upstairs was 89F so some of us had to sleep on the living room couch. The photos seemed like it was a very spacious space but it wasn’t that spacious. Other then that everything was fine

Adorable cabin, comfortably and stylishly furnished. Very well maintained. Loved the charming rock bathroom. Felt like a true mountain lodge. The pine tree setting was peaceful and serene. The spa on the back deck was very inviting and much appreciated after long hikes. The BBQ was high quality and super clean. The picnic table on the deck was an ideal place to have dinner under a canopy of pine trees. Conveniently located close to markets and drugstores. Molly and Seth have a background in hospitality and it shows. They were super communicative and professional. Everything was exactly as advertised and we'll definitely be returning.

We absolutely loved this Cabin. Very cozy and we went with another couple and our two corgis. This place was very dog friendly and in a great quiet location. Loved the outdoor area with the spa and lights for night time. Not far from the village or beach at all. Definitely recommend for a nice weekend getaway.

BEAUTIFUL cabin so nice and cozy! Love that they had all the seasonings and utensils. The blankets and dark colors made it more cozy and homey. The only thing to watch out for during the summer is that there is no AC. The fans work well but it gets pretty hot inside.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at Lazy Bear Chalet. We were here for a few days with our dog. The house is very pet friendly. The place was just as we expected. Bright, open space with super-comfortable living room area, clean and so nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. Molly is super helpful and was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Definitely highly recommend.

We had a great time at the Lazy Bear Chalet in Big Bear! It was so great being able to bring our dog Cooper with us for the weekend, and the loved our stay! It really felt like our home - we were able to make breakfast, watch tv and play games, spend time in the hot tub - as if it was our own! We would definitely visit again if we ever plan another trip up the mountain :)

Very quiet and quaint stay, loved the area and close to everything! One of our favorite things about the stay was the old record player, it was really cool! We enjoyed some oldies as we relaxed! The entire space was clean and was exactly like the photos showed. We will be coming back for sure!!

Awesome stay in a great location! Close enough to stores & the lake. Everything was clean, check-in was easy & great communication. We especially enjoyed the days during the week, since there were less visitors to the area than on the weekend. It was so peaceful out on both decks! Our family of 4 fit perfectly & we loved that our pup could come too! I imagine it to be extra cozy during the winter months, but it was great for our warm days on the lake. Would stay again & absolutely recommend.

Overall, the place is pretty dang good. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, balcony, overall quaintness of the cabin, and the record player when it wasn't giving us trouble. I had a couple of issues with the record player and sliding deck door, but the property manager said they would be fixing those issues. As a traveler beware, I'd over emphasize the fact that this place has no a/c. That reality makes the loft practically unusable during the day in the spring/summer because it is too hot--- even with the window open.

I would highly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip. The location was peaceful and close to local stores. They pretty much have everything you would need to feel at home. The cabin is also great for a night in. Would definitely stay here again. solid 10/10

Beautiful cabin in a great location!

We stayed for a week and had a great time! Booked last minute and the hosts had quick and helpful communication and were super accommodating. The place was spotless, had everything you’d need for cooking, had great games to play and had a great living room set up. The location wasn’t super close walking distance to a coffee shop or bar and was definitely in a neighborhood vibe. The upstairs got really hot during the day so it was tough to be up there except at night when the temp cooled off, which was fine by us but may be tough if you had a larger group staying or it’s in the summer (currently no AC but there are ceiling fans). The hot tub seemed a little close to the neighbors yards but after looking around this does seem like a pretty common set up in the area. Overall a really sweet stay and truly enjoyed our time!

My husband and I came out to Big Bear for a mini writer's retreat and could not have found a better home. Fantastic amenities and little touches made it feel like a home away from home. We made full use of the hot tub and even found a little time for sledding (sled was provided which was lovely). Thanks having us stay. We will be back!

Beautiful renovated chalet really close to Big Bear Mountain Resort. Interior and comfort is exactly how you would imagine it from the photos. Our family loved the long weekend stay here in a quiet neighborhood and hope to be back. Hosts are exceptional and we highly recommend this place.

The 3 of us humans and a small dog had a great stay at Molly’s place. Place was clean, Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner. Hot tub was a plus too!

The Lazy Bear Chalet is an adorable, cozy, curated cabin located just off the beaten woodsy path! The photos do make it look a tad larger than it was in person, but the hot tub and fireplace are wonderful additions :) Love that it's a dog-friendly space too; our pup had a great time!!

Very well decorated cabin in a good area. However, there were some quality issues that detracted from what otherwise would have been a great cabin. That being said, we were one of the first groups to stay here. I’m optimistic the hosts will work out these quality kinks and turn it into a more luxurious experience.

This was one of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed at with Airbnb! It was recently remodeled and the style made you feel like you were staying in a gorgeous boutique hotel. The place was super clean when we got there and we also really enjoyed the jacuzzi! Communication was also great and super quick. Hope to come back!
