Myself and my group had an amazing stay this weekend at Molly’s place! We were having internet issues and as soon as I let the hosts know, they immediately sent someone over to repair the issue. There were plenty of different appliances and we were able to peacefully cook all weekend! The only thing I have feedback on is that I wish the pots and pans provided were in better shape, so we had to buy some new ones to cook- however, that did not stop us from having a great stay. The place is perfect for a peaceful getaway- the hot tub & working fireplace were great bonuses!

We loved our time spent on this property and felt right at home in the lovely space!

We had a wonderful girls weekend, the whole place is a vibe. Loved the architecture and design details. We cooked all weekend in the stocked kitchen and loved the jacuzzi. Would stay again!

This listing was very clean and has a great atmosphere which is the perfect getaway spot. It also has a lot of places to explore nearby. The host is also responsive and was nice enough to extend the checkout time. It was a great experience and I would definitely book with this host again!

We had a really nice time and the cabin was great. The rooms are a little smaller than the pictures make them look, but still a decent size. The street itself is nice but not super close to the village. I would rent this house again

Had a great stay at this place. The beds were VERY comfortable. Loved all the windows to view the neighborhood. Older home but lots of updates that made it feel modern but didn’t loose character of the home.

My family and I enjoyed our stay, honestly I don’t know why they have a bad review the house doesn’t echo and it’s not dirty. Thank you for having us.

Great place to stay...

This house is a chic vibe-but just beware-it’s not a comfortable cozy cabin. The whole house echoes, the beds are incredibly uncomfortable and creak and squeak at every roll or turn. The main floor master bedroom is so low that the other adult in our party had to find other accommodations. The bathroom sinks were blocked and didn’t drain. The inside of the house had some cute areas-but the outside has had ZERO updates.

Great stay, my family felt comfortable during the stay. The house had everything we needed for a week and the owners were flexible with accommodations.

The house was amazing and the host was very responsive. The issues we had was the hot tub didn’t get hot and few bugs maybe cause we were in the woods. And the few stains on the blankets and pillow cases. But the house was very accommodated and will definitely will come back or work with host again. We recommended for sure.

Big tall windows, open floor plan that looks up into the second floor, beautiful lighting, comfortable and tasteful furniture. We loved the layout and feel of this place. The floor to ceiling windows, and glass throughout the place really let in beautiful light. We’d come back here for a future stay.

House was just as described and shown in photos. Owners were extremely responsive and friendly! Would definitely stay again.

Everything was as described, the only thing I didn't understand why adults not allowed to use spa after 10pm, and why we had to bring our trash to a dumpster, not to put it to a trash bin. But maybe that's the city's regulations or something. Definitely will come back

This house was stunning! It exceeded our expectations with its cozy yet spacious layout, stylish decor. It was perfect for our girls weekend getaway, offering ample room for socializing as well as privacy when needed. The amenities were top-notch, from the fully equipped kitchen to the hot tub under the stars. The location was ideal, close to outdoor activities and local attractions. Our host was very accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious mountain retreat!

Great experience in a gorgeous house with all the accommodations. We had a small issue with the jacuzzi and it was taken care of in few minutes. Great customer service. We would definitely rent this house again.

our group enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home , it was very comfy & cozy and perfect for the girls night in we had planned . I’ve stayed at many homes in big bear and this home is definitely one of our favorite stays. Kitchen had tons of supplies which was necessary since we made dinner there so it helped us a lot. Overall would recommend to any group looking to come visit big bear.

We paid around $1500 and for the price it was not what we expected. The backyard looked nothing like the photos. Patio furniture was in weird areas. One of the patio chairs was on the hill there were cleaning tools just laying in different places. The site had an old stale smell to it. The design the home was beautiful but you can see so many flaws of where renovation was attempted. The dryer didn’t work, and I had to fly home with wet clothes in both of my carry-ons. I had to drive 15 minutes away to throw the trash away due to receiving a charge if the charges left in the garbage cans that are on site. I would be flexible with these things if the charge wasn’t so high. For the price I was expecting this house to look better than the house that I currently live in. 

Molly is a great host and the place is beautifully lit. I had a fun time staying at her place 😀

The house is beautiful and unique, lots of natural light, very cosy! Remodeled kitchen has everything that you might need, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. Has lots of interesting features but not too overwhelming. Close to everything. Check in and check out process was easy and house rules are reasonable. Will definitely book it again when traveling to Big Bear next time!

It was a very happy experience staying in Molly’s house for this trip. The house is very beautiful. Every one of us felt impressed by the modern designs. It was sunset time when we got there. It was soooo beautiful seeing the sunlight went through the trees and through the window. Molly did take care of every details like the shoe cleaner in front of every door and all the cooking stuff. Molly replied to my message so fast, Just in few seconds which made me feel I’m in good hands.

My wife and I loved this home. It was so amazing. Quiet, private, and relaxing. It was really perfect for us. It was very cozy and we felt right at home. The beds and couch were so comfortable!! And the jacuzzi was just a cherry on top. We would stay here again forsure. (:

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Molly Mei's place. Not only was the house very aesthetically pleasing, but it was clean, in a beautiful location, and we felt right at home. We were within a short driving distance from stores, restaurants, coffee shops, fishing spots, and much more. When we had a small issue, the host was extremely responsive and even came to fix the issue when we went out to quickly get food. We would be more than happy to stay again and had a wonderful time. Love this home! Unique architecture, with a spacious and comfortable floorplan and great location! Everything was clean and comfortable and there were lots of games and puzzles for the kids to play with. The hosts were very kind and responsive which made this experience a relaxing and enjoyable trip.

Great stay, very clean comfy and cozy

I thought the place was beautiful when i arrived and on pictures. Upon entering there was a smell, I noticed that carpet wasn’t as clean as we as guests should not go inside with outside shoes, we did notice some ants in the downstairs bathroom floor and the shower heads were very rustic/dirty. Upstairs in the master bedroom while sleeping we woke up to a big bug/spider crawling on the bed so that was very uncomfortable, not knowing if there were going to be more or if the bed sheets were even cleaned other than that we had a good experience. The house is beautiful but should have more pest control and little more deep clean. Hosts seem very nice and responsive.

As we arrived it was clearly noticeable that this vacation property was not well maintained. This home was built in late 60's & the upkeep of this classic home was a sad thing to see. The list of needed repairs were endless. To begin with, torn screens adorned each sliding glass door, allowing unwanted insects and pests to freely enter the premises. The upstairs light fixture had a large piece broken off & ants were not only in our pantry compromising our food but all over the upstairs master bathroom. The spa, a feature we were looking forward to, turned out to be a complete letdown. Despite reporting the problem immediately upon arrival, the management's solution was to send a technician once the part arrived. Regrettably, it remained non-operational throughout our entire stay, robbing us of the relaxing amenity that was promised. Upon check out you must drive your trash to one of two dump locations yourself. They do not have trash bins on their property. I would not rent again.

We had an incredible stay! We arrived at golden hour and the sun peaking through into the dining room was magical!! From the details in decor to their clear communication as hosts, the whole experience was wonderful!!

The team was very accommodating and quick to reply. Love the place too!

We had a nice time the beds are very comfortable. It’s kind of dusty not spotless. We had some issues when we checked in. The hosts were fairly helpful and let us check out a bit late. You’ll need to bring condiments, ziplock or other storage bags etc. there are some maintenance issues like the downstairs bedroom door doesn’t close completely. It’s an original mid century home with some upgrades. Nice furnishings etc. but needs upkeep.

The place is great and very cozy, has everything you will need, great location, great host, but pictures are not accurate, it is very old house which need renovation ASAP. Carpet has all types of stains and looks very dirty, pillows in bedrooms were never washed you taking cover off snd they are all yellow. Dust on every shell and under beds, very dirty house. Door knob missing on lower bedroom door, window door to hot tub does not open. We still had great time and loved the place but it does not worth the price, you expect way more for that price

This place is super cute. Great décor, perfect location, comfy beds, soft towels, good pillows, free fire wood. Constructive criticism (only because we own a few rentals). I would offer more towels and a Keurig. I know it's a pain for the cleaning crew to wash more towels, but it sure is helpful. We also left a suitcase there and the cleaning crew was kind enough to bring it back to the main office and my girlfriend who was still in town picked it up. All in all, it was a great stay.

We had a great stay! The house felt cozy and nostalgic, especially in the winter time. The lines in the design of the home make for a great view anywhere in the home. All of the beds and living room seating were comfortable. The location is close to all the resorts and the local grocery stores, but far enough from the main road to avoid noise and traffic. A few small issues detailed below, but not enough for me to say this was a bad stay. I enjoyed it, and if the host can correct these things, I'd definitely come back! Lighting - the rooms were very dark, and not all the light bulbs were working. Windows in private spaces - the window in the upstairs bathroom and in the downstairs bedroom were not covered by curtains Tub in downstairs bathroom not catching all water - leaking onto floor and rug TV remotes - not very responsive

Our family had such an amazing time for Christmas at this place. We loved the interior design and all the details and appliances. It was perfect!

Good stay overall, beautiful house! Except, I have to drive 5mins to dump the trashes, I thought this should be included in the cleaning fee.

The house was exactly what I wanted. Sitting on the couch looking out the large floor to ceiling windows was perfect for relaxing. The house was decorated a bit inside for the holidays which was a nice touch, there were a good variety of board games to play even though we had brought our own. The beds and sheets were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice, and everything went smoothly. Wish we stayed another day or two so we could have had more time to use the jacuzzi which was the 2nd main reason for choosing this house. I would 100% rebook this house again and hope to in the near future.

This place is beyond amazing! Location is great, cleanliness is superb, the interior deco is thoughtful and super impressive. Molly also went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

It pains me to write this terrible review. My family and I enjoyed the house itself very much. The chipped paint and stains on the carpet are easy to overlook when staying in such a beautiful home. The windows allow the sunlight in and perfectly warmup the home. The space is well laid out and comfortable for a family of 5. The house is well stocked with the basics. My biggest complaint and warning for future guests and why we will not be staying here or with this host again; my family contracted hot tub pseudomonas folliculitis. Translated: a bacterial infection. We did call the host when we saw the hot tub was a tint of green. They had a cleaner come out who assured us it was safe. IT WAS NOT! My family has rash, fevers, cough, and digestive issues. We have contacted the host and have not heard anything back. Their lack of response speaks volumes.

Overall great place! Great location, loved the overall vibe. I think there were some cleaning details that were overlooked. I also wish that they advertised that it would be decorated for Christmas as myself and my friends don’t celebrate. Kinda awkward if you weren’t anticipating any decorations. There was a noticeable red stain dripping from the top floor to the bottom over the fire place. Stains on the walls in the restroom, and lots of bits left behind on the floor by previous stayers. Advertisement said working guitar but nearly all the strings were busted, there were broken light fixtures, just a lot a little details missed. Other than the cleanliness and unexpected decor I would recommend. The location is scenic and near a lot of prime big bear spots, check in was easy too! Hot tub was great after a day at the slopes!

The decor was sleek and the house was definitely spacious enough for a large party. During our stay, the dining room lights weren't working for our first night. After communicating the issue, Molly handled the situation the following morning very efficiently. I appreciated their responsiveness throughout our stay and would recommend this place to anyone!

Amazing house. Literally stunning, and the attention to detail from the hosts is wonderful. Great location. Beds are super comfortable. Everything you need it close by if you can manage to get up and want to leave the house.

Standout modern gem in an area filled with cookie-cutter cabins, best described as an adult getaway for design lovers. I loved the tall ceilings and windows; it's a lovely sundrenched space by day that becomes a super romantic ambiance at night. Being able to spend an evening in the spa and sleeping with screen doors was absolute bliss. Communication with the hosts was great, we would come back every weekend if we could!

The house itself is gorgeous. Great location. However the bug problem takes away the ambiance. Spiders everywhere, spiderwebs everywhere, ants all in the bed and everywhere.

The house was decorated cute and Molly Mei was great at communicating! However, I am not sure if there was an issue with the AC or if it was just hard to get the entire house cool because of the size but the upstairs was extremely hot and The yard was also not maintained very well. Other than that it was a great location!

If you go with senior and younger kids, this place may not a good choice. They do have a large backyard, but most areas are hills which isn’t useful. Also feels like the patio hasn’t been maintained for a long time, overgrown grass everywhere even blocks the stairs. In the end, we have to keep kid indoor for safety issues, that makes the little one very disappointing. The lighting inside the house is not enough, it’s dark at night even we tried to turn on all the lights. There is no way to read a book in the living room in evenings. There is no lighting for the stairs, it’s dangerous if you want to go downstairs at night. One of the bedrooms upstairs has no bulbs for both of lamps. Since they are special size bulbs, we contacted the host. However the solution is to have the handyman deliver the next day morning. The bedroom is totally not accessible at night, we have to go down the supermarket to buy the new bulbs by ourselves. The host did offer to reimburse the bulbs though. As to the cleanliness, we don’t mind paying higher cleaning fees $210 compared with others. However, the cleanliness is under expectations, both the wash basin and toilet bowl upstairs have stains inside, the coffee table and dining table is dusty. We do like the high ceilings for the living room and overall the house is spacious. But for our next trip, we will probably look for somewhere else.

Great location to all the amenities of the area, yet peacefully tucked away from all the tourist traffic. Great outdoor sitting area and comfortable beds on the inside. The floor to ceiling windows gave way to a magnificent view of trees and mountains. The neighborhood is quiet and was a wonderful weekend getaway.

Beautiful mid century architectural house! Loved the view, design, spaciousness and coziness. It was very comfortable with great details like Aesop soap and sharp knifes, board games, fireplace, spa and cute chipmunks running around. We spent great 10 days in the house. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

This home is absolutely stunning! The architecture is just beautiful and inspiring. It’s very comfortable and peaceful. Definitely the place to be if you want to get away and want something unique for a big bear. We are definitely staying here again! Seth and Molly are just absolutely wonderful! We will only book our Big Bear stays with them moving forward because of how amazing our experience has been with them.
