Tucked away within walking distance of great places to eat. The location was perfectly quiet, which made the stay very enjoyable and peaceful. Definitely would book here once again in the future!

The property was perfect for our family. We stayed there for over a week and a half had no problems and it was the location was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Big Bear! The place was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided great recommendations for local dining and activities. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and easy access to hiking trails and the village. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

If you’re considering renting this out because you have kids - do it! I loved the little touches and inclusions for my toddler. The listing is accurate, there is indeed a hair dryer, and even a baby gate for the stairs! The bed was super soft and comfy and it just felt like home.

Molly Mei was very accommodating and kind! Her place was cozy and perfect for my one year old to run around safely and be curious. If you have a small family, this is the place for you.

Upon arrival the exterior of the house was in disrepair. Chipping paint and broken blinds were visible from the driveway. The inside appears well maintained with the exception of the flooring. In the transition from the living room to kitchen, there were several sharp places which hurt when stepping on. The backyard space was exposed but had a wonderful view of the foliage, the only unfortunate part was the fire pit mentioned in the listing did not work. I informed the host and was asked if we would like it fixed during our stay to which I responded yes and then never heard back. This is in a great location and very close to amenities. We were happy to find this last minute accommodation but will be more thorough in picking a place in the future.

Place is exactly like described. Easy to find, clean and a perfect little place for a big bear get away. Host was awesome with clear instructions and an awesome guidebook. The sheets and bedding were so soft and comfortable so it made traveling easy. Highly recommend this host and place.

This cabin looks exactly like the photos! I solo traveled to get some work done and the Airbnb was spacious, clean, and had beautiful decor! There were multiple places in the house i can get my work done. The area itself was very peaceful, i felt safe and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, plates, pans, seasonings etc. so that was a BIG perk! I regret not booking another day because this was one of the most nicest cabins I’ve been in. Also the host was very responsive! So thank you again!

The location is perfect – it's tucked away in a quiet area, providing a serene and peaceful environment, but still close enough to all the must-see attractions. Whether you want to visit the lake, visit the resorts, or check out the charming shops and restaurants, everything is just a short drive away.

Beautiful cozy home that made the perfect weekend mountain getaway with our kids. The host was very responsive to questions . Great location too! Everything we wanted to do was less than 10 minutes away.

From the moment you walk in, the carpet/rug was old and soiled. I believed that "no air conditioning was needed in Big Bear" because it was my first time there. The attic where the two twin beds were located did not cool down all night despite the windows being open. On top of that there were no fans, plants were plastic, so no chances of any cooldown! I have never had such an uncomfortable experience with the beds in any airbnb or hotel..ever. The queen headboard was broken, and the whole bed lopsided. The two attic twin beds were uncomfortable, not meant for anyone over 100 lbs, looked and felt what I would only imagine a prison bed to feel like. Someone challenged this owner, how cheap can you go, and never replace anything. The pillows were flimsy and the bed linen cheap, with the pillows cases having odor/stains. I was afraid to look under them. I ended up staying only one night and left early even though I paid for two nights. Worst experience ever.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the convenient location close to Valley and Big Bear Summit. However, we had some issues with the second floor being too hot, even with two windows open, making it difficult to sleep. We eventually had to sleep in the living room and first-floor bedroom. Additionally, the bed on the second floor was quite shaky. I recommend repairing or replacing the bed frame to avoid any potential injuries for future guests.

Perfect cozy place for a girls getaway. Looks just like the photos, close to the Village, and very quiet. Loved the extra touches of items supplied like dish and laundry soap as well as bathroom items. There was a water filter in the fridge that was great to refill our water bottles each day before our hikes or trips to the village. Overall the place was very clean, few stains here or there but that’s to be expected in a rental. We were happy with the fans provided as well since we did visit in June.

This cabin was the perfect size and vibe we were looking for! We have a little one and appreciated the kids play area upstairs, our little one loved it. Molly was super responsive to our messages and a great host throughout our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We have 2 toddlers and loved the kid friendly amenities. The location was a short walk to the village and Pine Knot park, and the quiet, closed in yard provided hours of entertainment for the kids. The place looked just like the photos and was very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. Molly reached out ahead of time and check in was easy. Highly recommend this place :)

The host was responsive. The house was dirty, stained chairs, broken bed, etc... The smoke/carbon detectors were non functioning. Host had the nerve to tell me it was easy to replace the battery and sent me the instructions, told them that was not my responsibility. Would not recommend to others.

This was the perfect size & spot for my family's mini getaway. The upstairs playroom, equipped with books and toys (and a baby gate!), was exactly what we needed with two littles. Loved the location - very close to the main village. The owners were very responsive and instructions were clear & easy. We enjoyed our stay!

Overall, the place was cute and cozy! But I will say it is not adequate for small children-the room for them is an attic style space that tapers two feet at each wall. The stairs were also extremely steep which was hard with our two small toddlers. No fireplace and lack of ventilation was not ideal. It was a beautiful place but don’t recommend going when it’s snowing because of the long driveway made it extremely difficult getting in and out.

We had a great stay at the Black Knight cabin. It is a perfect size for a couple. the kitchen has newer appliances and all were very clean. Soap and kitchen towels and extra paper towels are readily.available as.well as some special goodies like hot chocolate and marshmallows! The bathroom is large and there is no shortage of hot water. There is a tv in the bedroom as well as plenty of blankets if needed. It took us about 15 to 20 to walk to the village (we are in our 60s). We walked everywhere while we stayed at the cabin. The neighborhood is quiet and the streets are.great for walking. We also enjoyed the large, open front yard and spacious driveway. We brought our remote control cars and had alot of fun driving them around the yard and cabin. Molly and Seth were very responsive when I messaged them during our stay - I thought the porch light bulb was burned out, but it just took a little time to turn on. We had a very relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin!!

Cool place to stay in Big Bear! Unfortunately our hot water wasn’t working the first night / morning and I wish the back yard was private. Other than that, enjoyed the stay and location.

We had such a wonderful stay at Black Knight Cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The cabin was also located close to the Village as well as within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. The added bonus were the toys and the play set located upstairs that kept our three year old entertained for hours.

Nice size space for price. Couch was lopsided and dishes a little bit unclean but all in all good place to stay for the weekend.

Fantastic cabin and location. Lots of amenities within the home and plenty of kitchen tools to utilize if you find yourself cooking. The backyard patio and fireplace was a nice addition.

We enjoyed our time at this property. Decor was nice, updated and inviting and the bedding was comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. We had 4 adults - though the upstairs was tight for 2 adults. Overall it worked just fine for a short stay and was nice to be close to town and activities.

Overall this was a cute little cabin and my toddler really enjoyed the play area. However, the stairs were very steep and dangerous for my two year old. Gates would be a very great idea! The main room bed was a little uncomfortable for my husband. But he does have a sensitive back. Anyway, The cabin was in a great location. Everything was close by which was very convenient.

This is a second time we stayed in the property managed by Molly and her team, and we were very happy with our choice. The house was modernized and nicely staged - it has all you need for a short getaway. We loved the location.

Overall it was a great stay. The cabin’s interior is beautiful and exactly as pictured. This cabin is definitely geared towards a single family with Little’s. Because of the listing I didn’t bring any of her toys from home, except her lovies, because I knew they had toys there and she loved them. My only suggestion for improvement would be to get some gates for the stairs. But since my daughter slept with me upstairs, in the pack and play, the pack and play worked in a pinch when we were upstairs playing with the toy kitchen. However, when we were downstairs we had to keep a close eye that she didn’t go up my herself Otherwise a great stay and would definitely recommend to single families.

The only problem I encountered at the cabin was ants but they had ant spray available and it’s big bear, ants are the worst. Our son couldn’t sleep upstairs because of the heat, a ceiling fan would do wonders. Other than that the trip was great, they were very good with communication, it was clean. I couldn’t figure out the tv haha

My family of 4 had a great stay at the Black Knight Cabin. We happened to come on one of the hottest weekends in Big Bear with 2 toddlers. The location is great and convenient, a short walk and drive to The Village, parks, and the lake. The property was cozy, and quiet. Check in at the management office was quick and easy, and only a block away from the cabin. Keep in mind this property does not have AC or a window unit. The upstairs bedroom was unbearably hot, even with two windows open and a fan running all night, we all had to sleep downstairs on a queen bed and the couch. Molly & Seth provided us with an additional fan to use, but even then, there was no way we could have anyone sleep upstairs. Would definitely stay again when the weather is cooler. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Big Bear at the Black Knight Cabin.

The reviews for this property are a bit misleading as they bulk all of the properties that are managed by Molly into the reviews for this particular place and there isn't a way to sort it for the singular property. Which means, there are reviews that get bulked in that mention hot tubs and modern decor that are not in regard to this particular property. We had some cleanliness issues with the linens upstairs that we spoke with Molly about and she was accommodating with letting us check out early. The Black Knight Cabin is quaint, quiet and cozy but in need of a bit of updating. Be aware to not leave snacks open overnight on the counter as we left some cookies and there were ants all over the counter in the am.

My son and I had a great time at Molly’s. He loved the play kitchen upstairs. And I was very surprised that they provided a pack n play for him to sleep. I enjoyed being able to cook in their full kitchen with a gas range. It was a treat.

This was our first time in Big Bear, we had an amazing stay. The property was exactly as described and on point. It was super clean and comfortable. We loved how everything was so close by and how easy it was to make smores in the backyard. Very peaceful, quiet and so much greenery surroundings. Very beautiful view. The host was very friendly and responsive. Great place and great host!

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable, todo es tal cual las fotos la cabaña muy limpia, cerca de los lugares para esquiar y restaurantes. Molly estuvo al pendiente todo el tiempo.

The cabin itself was cute. It needs a deep cleaning bad. There were hand prints on walls. Base boards were covered in dirt by bar seats. There’s black scuffs all over the walls too from people. It was just a bit clean/ Also the water situation isn’t good. You can’t run the sink, dishwasher or washer without it making the shower super cold or so hot it was burning. Thank god it happened to me not one of my toddlers or they would’ve been really hurt. The fancy light in the bedroom kept having the bulbs fall off on the bed. We had a blast with the record player and old records the kids loved that. Their own space upstairs was really nice too. I wish I had realized there was no blow dryer so I would’ve brought mine. It was 36 outside and we couldn’t go tubing because my hair was soaked from my morning shower. Location is awesome and super close to town which we loved as well. All in all it was cool but i don’t think we will book again unfortunately.

Great stay. We had a full lawn of snow to play in! Just fyi if you are bringing a toddler who is just learning to walk… there are some steep stairs without a door at the top or bottom. Baby gate would be helpful if you don’t wanna be constantly chasing your toddler! Otherwise the play space was so cute and we had a comfortable stay. Our 3 yr old loved the record player.

Beautiful home’ makes you feel at home…. Super cozy’ clean’ 1st of all the HOST! They were amazing! I was stuck up in big bear during the storm and they let me enter the home hours before check inn’ just so we wouldn’t be stuck in the car! (Traveling with a baby) so for that we will forever be grateful! The house was perfect……I can’t wait to stay there once again. Was worth every penny!

The house is just charming, situated on a lovely lot, close to town and the slopes. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for 4 people. The check in was very easy, and the communication with Mae was easy, and she supplied us with great tips for our car during a huge snowstorm!

I had booked this as a mini getaway for my partner and I. We had pretty big expectations from the photos and the description of the place. I had bad experiences from previous Air BNB’s, but I was willing to give it one more try. For what you’re paying to stay at this location, you would expect a lot more. The driveway was very muddy, not paved or at the very least some gravel. I believe they should put that somewhere in the description of the property. The bed was not comfortable whatsoever. The mattress is very uncomfortable and lumpy, the pillows also very thin on a creaky bed frame that felt like it was going to break at any moment. I did appreciate the towels being clean and having a space heater that worked quite well. Another thing I did not appreciate was that no one responded to me when I had messaged them about a concern. Still never received a response regarding my message. Please consider other options before spending your money here.

We were coming into town for the day but ended up deciding to stay after finding such a great find ! When I tell you this place has everything we needed, it's beyond explanation. Was able to relax after a long day in the snow. Especially the montessori room with the play area for my 15 month old . I'm glad we brought our safety gate for the stairs. It felt like home but with snow ! Such a beautiful, peaceful scenery. On point with communication.

Molly and Seth were great hosts and the cabin met all our expectations. It was just right for our family of 4 and we loved the convenience of having everything we needed to cook at home, while still being very close to the village to eat out. Snow summit was super close as well, which is why we chose this location. We unfortunately ran into some very random electrical/power outage problems that were beyond the host's control (weather stuff) - and even then, they were proactive and accommodated us to another location for the night. Both places were clean and cozy and had all the things we needed to be comfortable. If you're on the fence about booking this place, let me push you towards Black Knight side, I promise you won't regret it.

We had to book Molly’s place very last minute as the heater was not working at or original place. We were extremely grateful this beautiful home was available on such short notice. Booked the cabin at 6 & we were in and settle by 6.30. You have to check in at another building very close to the cabin, but it wasn’t an issue at all for us even in the middle of a storm. Getting inside was a breeze and the cabin was very beautifully decorated. My family and I loved it and it even gave us some décor inspiration for our home. It was the perfect size for my family of 3 & my son really enjoyed the little kids kitchen upstairs along with the toys & books. Prime location, close to pretty much everything. That was a huge plus. The only issue we really had was the bed, but I have a bad back and woke up in a bit of pain, but could just be because of my personal situation. It was just not the most comfortable in my opinion. But overall we really enjoyed our stay & would love to come back!

We loved the black knight cabin and will definitely go back. Its so perfect for our family of 4, kids upstairs & parents downstairs. the place is so cozy, comfortable beds and clean. all the right amenities. my pre teen & teen even played with the toy kitchen and train set, never too old! they go easy driveway for the snow, we got a lot of snow on our trip and the driveway was convenient. Cabin is so close to the village, we drove because of the snow.. but totally could have walked. I dropped off the kids and hubby at the ski lift and it was just minutes away. there was a board rental place - blaurer - literally down the street, so convenient and easy. Black Knight Cabin was perfect.

Place had everything we needed ,was clean, great flow, nice fluffy towels , spacious kitchen , great play area for grandchild, would rent again. Please consider upgrading to higher end mattresses.

Place was super close to the main drag in big bear for dinners. The kids loved the hill in front for sledding with small kids!

Staying at this cabin was perfect for me, my husband, and our three little girls. 3yo and 1yo LOVED the playroom. The added Christmas tree was such a cute addition and the whole aesthetic interior was my absolute favorite part. I have nothing bad to say about our experience. The house is beautiful! And our stay was amazing! We got lucky and it snowed the day before! There was a little hick up with our checkin and house keeping was there so we had to wait a couple of minutes for them to finish and our code didn't work at first. But our host got back to us incredibly fast and everything was resolved right away. That didn't effect our stay and enjoyed every second of it. Loved everything about it and would definitely stay again :)

This home is GORGEOUS and in such a beautiful neighborhood. She had a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of cozy blankets, and one of the most comfy beds I've ever slept in. Definitely want to come back soon!

Black Night Cabin is ideal rentalfor a couple or a family with small children. The cabin was immaculate and looks just like the pictures. it was conveniently located within Big Bear Lake community and a very easy walk to the Village. Check in was a breeze with the local management company and you received your code for the house immediatelyto make coming and going for your entire group extra easy. When I'm back in Big Bear again this will definitely serve as one of my go tos. Thanks Molly.

The rental was brilliant. Really clean and a very relaxing place to stay. Couldn’t recommend enough! The perfect place to escape the city!

Great time with our kids - Pretty accurate in description and no surprises. Close to all the resturants and the overall stay was exactly what we had in mind. For us city people be prepared to drive your trash at departure to the local trash site. Also, we didn't really interact with Molly but with the property management company. So don't be too thrown off with that and it was a nice office with polite people, not far at all from the cabin.

We loved this cabin! The size was perfect, it was clean and quite, and had just the right amount of decor and was super cozy.

The black night cabin was great! Clean, really nice inside, and close to everything in town. We really enjoyed our stay. I will echo some comments I read that it gets hot inside the bedroom at night, but with the fan on and window open it was no problem. We would definitely stay there again.

Literally no complaints about this place or the hosts. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. This place is absolutely adorable and the location pretty great (in my opinion). Definitely bring a fan or fans with you, there is no A/C here but it seems that’s pretty common in Big Bear. So I wouldn’t count that as a negative for this cabin. All in all I would come back and definitely recommend to others!

My family had a great time at back knight cabin. Pictures are perfectly accurate to what you walk into. It’s beautifully decorated and it was very clean. My kids enjoyed the backyard and the play area upstairs in the loft. The stairs are very steep so keep that in mind for little kids. Communication was great and we just had the best time! The check in time was a little late for my family but we made do We will definitely be back!!

We checked in late, so once we arrive to the cabin, the upstairs room was so hot. We weren’t aware the cabin had no ac so with a sleeping toddler it was so inconvenient there was no fan or anything to cool down the place we literately had to open every window. Lovely space but come prepared with ways to keep cool especially if you are visiting with little ones.

The property was exactly as pictured. It was extremely clean and well equipped. There were a few things missing (laundry detergent, duvet cover, dish soap, extra roll of toilet paper), but the friendly staff at the check in office were very accommodating and provided us with the missing items. It was very cute an cozy and had a big back yard. Perfect for kids! The only downside for me was the closed bedroom mattress was extremely soft. Anyone with back problems (such as myself) might want to consider sleeping on the couch or upstairs.

Everything was perfect. The cabin is cosy and beautiful, we had a wonderful stay here. It’s so far one of our best airbnb experience with everything a family would expect for kids (toys, a room well arranged for them, a baby chair, kitchen stuff for them…). Thanks a lot for hosting us !

This cabin is super modern with the mountain cabin feel surroundings it was super clean had all the amenities needed for an epic stay the whole atmosphere was a delight can’t wait to come back

Large, clean place, ideal for multiple people. The location is great if you have a car. If you're on foot (hiker) it's a 15 minute walk to the village and other places. If you're a hiker, keep in mind, that the trash needs to be taken to a disposal site which is a 30 min walk away, which can be a bit annoying.

Amazing little cabin in a perfect location! Our toddler loved the children's kitchenette and toys. It was very relaxing and had so many cute touches and design elements. Loved our stay!

I love this house so much! It's the perfect, quiet mountain getaway we needed. The house was clean and the hosts super friendly and easygoing. 1001% Reccommend! I guess for fellow friends, do keep in mind check in is until 4pm, checkout at 10am, and you are required to take out the trash before leaving and make sure all dishes are clean to not get any extra charges. It is also required to sign in at a reception (just a block away) before arriving to the house. It's all easy tasks and worth it, but it was a surprise to us. Happy to come back again! :)

This was a cute little cabin that my family enjoyed. It has a upstairs play area for kids that my son loved. There’s no child safety gate so just be careful with that but overall we loved it.

Cute little cabin! But still had more than enough room for my girlfriend and I! Everything was super clean and i kinda had a hiccup getting in because of the door code, but Molly was super quick to help and provide a new code. Overall great experience!!

We stayed at the black knight cabin and had the absolute best time. It was the perfect distance for walking downtown and to the lake. It had the perfect kids space with a toy kitchen, toys and books. Our little one was obsessed we barely had to leave. The kitchen had everything you could need and everything was clean, beautiful and perfect. Highly recommend this place. We’ll defiantly be going back!

What a wonderful little cabin! Perfect for our family of 3- my daughter (8) loved having the upstairs to herself. Nightly s’mores by the fire pit, quiet neighborhood- we look forward to coming back!

Very clean. Good location for a night's stay , convenient to the village and easy drive from the slopes. Hosts are very attentive and good communicators.

The upstairs room was unusable as a place for a toddler to sleep because of the steep stairs and lack of door. The blinds and window sills were really gross as were the carpets and rugs throughout the home. It smelled musty. The towels didn’t smell clean. The poor water pressure in the shower made rinsing out my medium length hair nearly impossible. Having to take out our own trash was a huge inconvenience.

Absolutely darling place in a great location, walking distance to the village and close to the slopes.

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of four. We loved the mid-century decor. It was very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very nice pots and pans, cups, coffee mugs, plates, utensils, knives, bowls, dish soap, sponges, toaster, Keurig, etc. They thought of everything. They also provided towels , shampoo, conditioner, and body gel. The upstairs room is perfect for the children. Lots of space for playing. Very cute cabin. We would definitely rent Molly and Seth's cavin again.

This house is decorated very sweet and beautiful. Part of the second floor is designed as a play area that keeps our sons very very busy. We love it. This house is smaller than we expected, but it has everything we need. The drive way is a little bit long and muddy, you need to be careful not to step on the mud and make the house dirty.

My significant other & I were lucky enough to be the first guests at Black Knight Cabin and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a wonderful little place, spacious enough for 2 or even 4 with the upstairs loft. The cabin is decorated very nicely and is exactly as pictured. The home decor is something right out of Pinterest, I couldn’t get over how nicely everything paired together. The Christmas tree was such a nice touch & the snowman kit was very thoughtful, we were able to make the perfect little snowman. The location was great; it’s close to stores, restaurants, The Village & Aspen Glen Picnic Area. Hosts had great communication & were very nice. We would definitely visit again 😊
